Ok, I'm different than most - I like to write a review after I have 'settled in' with a product or service, which I think gives a more balanced, trustworthy, and valuable review.I enjoyed the Hydes experience from the beginning, and I still enjoy them and the American Standard variable speed heat pump HVAC system.Hydes is 'old school' in the best possible terms....they answer the phone, they schedule service and show up, and are cheerful and seem to be a happy group, which is nice to see. They are like a family, and they treat me like family as well. It feels welcoming and real, not fake or grandstanding in any way.I have been more comfortable this past summer with my new system, and I have saved money since I had an old A/C unit that was 24 years old! It would not die, it was a loyal system, but it was just too inefficient with electric prices being what they are here in CA.Bottom line, I found this company, and I was glad I did, and I certainly recommend them to others!

We have been pleased with the whole Hydes experience. From Johnathan clearly explaining each option. The kind men explaing each step of the install to my husband who due to 2 strokes can't talk but has a keen interest in all they did. One thing was left off the install but was immediately taken care of when brought to Hydes attention. We will recommend them to all.

Our heating & A/C system was at the end of it's expected life. We had called for a service to get the A/C working and Johnathon did so. He was very thorough and gave us all details regarding future maintenance vs. installation of a new system. We felt very comfortable with the way the facts were presented to us & we concluded the best idea was to replace an aging system that appeared to need continued maintenance & or repair. Hyde's has been consistently on time, professional, price competitive & trustworthy. That's all you can expect a service provider to do!
