Hydes Gift of Cooling History
Here at Hydes, we wanted to give back something special to our community and use our talents and resources to give to those in need that we serve in the Coachella Valley, CA area. One of the hardest things our technicians run across is when they go to a home and the homeowner has no means to replace or repair a non-functioning or failing cooling or heating system. It really hits home.
That’s why we started our Gift of Cooling Program in 2017 and will continue it yearly!
Congratulations to our 2024 Gift of Cooling recipients.
Our annual Gift of Cooling program gave us the opportunity to gift a new AC/Gas Furnace system, a new Heat Pump system and two condensers & coils to families and individuals that had no cooling.

Our annual Gift Of Cooling program looked a little different this year but we were able to give the gift of a new AC to deserving families and individuals in the Coachella Valley. We gifted three separate condensers & coils to families/individuals that had no cooling.

This year’s recipients were not photographed with their new AC systems and with the Hyde brothers due to COVID-19 precautions/guidelines.
We were moved by all the nominations that came in this year, which was more than the last two years combined, and wished we could have given all the nominees a new AC system.
Once again this has been a wonderful experience to give back to the community that we serve and to keep people cool…we are already looking forward to next year’s event!

Once again, we were so touched by all the nominations that we received this year. After reading each nominee’s story and current situation, we wished that we could have given all the nominees a new AC system.
We always set out to giveaway at least one new AC system and this year we awarded three!

- A new air conditioning system will be gifted to an individual or family in need.
- Must reside in the Coachella Valley within Hydes service area.
- The nomination can be submitted by a friend, family member, co-worker or group by filling out the nomination form below.
- Only 1 nomination form is needed to nominate a needy individual or family. Multiple nominations will not improve the chances of winning.
