Performed annual cooling maintenance on a 2019 ACPRO 3ton split system . Replaced 16x30 and 14x14 filters.

Phone call advised compressor blanket not a guaranteed solution. Also advised on condenser only replacement.

Cooling service and safety check on 2020 equipment. Verified sequence of operation is working properly. Washed coils, cleared drain lines replaced filters. Verified refrigerant pressures are good. Capacitor tested weak. Replaced defective capacitors with new part. Test operation and amps after start up.

Replaced ambient temperature sensor. Adjusted damper (only one on entire duct system) that goes to den/kitchen but not living room. Adjusted it 1” back, same as before so should be same as when no adjustment was made. Asked if they could feel it as before and they couldn’t tell exactly. They have 2 separate thermometers, reading 78 when 1050 thermostat says 76, my psychrometer matched main thermostat temperature. Informed that thermostat is calibrated , just have temperature imbalance due to differing heat loads per room. Informed that zoning is the proper solution for proper results. Sending quote with email for wireless temperature sensor. They wanted to know about closing registers or adding more dampers, I advised against this as it won’t give the results that are wanted and can cause more imbalance or increased static pressures. Recommend zoning as it’s the only solution that will allow each room to be at their wanted temperature.

Cleared line from outside termination and washed condensing coil. Found all electrical components and refrigerant levels to be within manufacture specifications. Spoke with client of removing fresher intake, unplugged it client ok Also spoke about whole house, air purification Set estimate for Plenum repair and one for whole house air purification Signed up on Hydes family comfort club monthly membership.

Performed a cooling maintenance on a 2021 American standard 5 ton platinum condenser. condenser located on right side of home filters located hallway ceiling filter filter were changed by HO before visit fluahed condensation line from attic check for voltage and amperage, check for some pressure, Check for Freon level. Blew dust from electrical component also went up the attic requested by HO to check it there was no water leak in the attic. System working within specifications at the time of maintenance in cooling.

Upon arrival, client informed me that when they set thermostat on Cool system blows out warm air Also, Client showed me where dog bit through the wires Wire was completely shut off and separated from each other Cut back damaged wire ran new piece of wire, new armor, flex, and UV wrap ran wire through condenser so no wire is exposed. Cycled system and verified system operations system is now cooling properly and within limits.
