2009 Preformed a semi annual cooling service on split system. Cleared condensation line and replaced 20 x 25 filter located within the furnace/garage up flow. Cycle equipment followed, cooling sequence of operation checked capacitor, fan motor, compressor, amps and voltage. Nest thermostat checked out OK. Checked refrigerant/temperature split. Rinsed condenser coil. Cooling equipment checked out operational at this visit Upon arrival, Pine in for me, thermostat displaying no power to R C not connected. With further investigation found no power to furnace/ unplugged cord. Plugged cord and thermostat came back on. Checked heater to make sure it’s working Both systems are working properly at this time. Client will call the office for agreement renewal.

Performed annual heating maintenance on a 2006 Nordyne downflow furnace. FAU located in outside closet. Replaced 20x30 filter in FAU. Followed sequence of operations and checked voltage across pressure and limit switches, checked amperage for blower motor, checked temperature rise, secured electrical connections and detected zero carbon monoxide. Nest thermostat checked out operational. System is working properly in heating at this time of service.

Executed a heating maintenance on a split system (technician notes). Equipment executed sequence of operation in heating. No carbon monoxide detected in the home. Blower motor amp draw measured and documented at 100% demand. Blower capacitor – good. Inducer motor – good. Heat rise 25°. System is heating the home at the time of maintenance.

Replaced batteries in Tstat and unit is operating properly at this time.

Upon arrival, got on roof and examined system. For starters system does not have a model or serial number and is well beyond life expectancy. System needs a new blower motor and blower wheel. Motor is seized and blower wheel fins are broken. Spoke with Jim and left message for daughter. Jim is going to get another opinion.
