Upon arrival client stated blower motor making loud rumbling noise when running, noticed scroll wheel would wiggle on blower shaft during operation. Pulled blower housing and found set screw for scroll wheel lose, tighten screw as well as all other connections for motor and housing. Tested equipment and noise is gone. (See videos).

Upon arrival, client stated many split and Casita would shut off before reaching desired heating temperature. With further inspection, I discovered system was going off due to high head pressure. Adjust refrigerant charge. System is now operating properly.

I Performed Maintenance on the Cooling System. Also replaced a 20x30 filter. The system is a 2014 model located outside on the ground. The system checked out operational at the time of the service.

Executed a heating maintenance on a split system technician notes. Measured static pressure and blower motor amp draw at 100% demand. Client replaced filters. Cleared condensate drain line. Refrigerant circuit diagnostic – good. Temperature heat rise 25°. System is heating the home at the time of maintenance.

Calling maintenance on 2016 Payne unit located on ground. Changed out 18 x 18 filter located in lower wall. Cleared all electrical components of dust and debris, verified proper sequence of operation, checked volts and amps, checked capacitors, verified refrigerant and took temp split and cycled system. Washed condensing coil, thermostat checked out okay. Within manufacturers specifications and cooling and operating properly at this time of service.

Upon arrival client informed me his blower motor is making noise, vibration, washer machine noise etc. Went up to attic to further investigate what was going on manually turned blower motor on through circuitboard found that when blower motor kicks on it’s scraped the side of housing once it gets going it’s vibrating, blower wheel out of balance. Spoke with homeowner on findings made recommendations and client approved to replace blower motor, blower wheel and motor mount assembly also signed up on Hydes family comfort plan. Will follow up with client on Monday with ETA on parts. Credit diagnostics towards comfort plan
